this absolutely broke my heart and drove me to tears. it's articles and stories and PURE FACTS like these that make me extremely PROUD to be a vegetarian and soon-to-be vegan.
I encourage you all to read this article from Farm Sanctuary about baby calves. The neglect, abuse, and pure torture these precious babies go through for fucking veal and milk is just absolutely sickening. And excuse my language, but there are ways in which humans can consume animals (if necessary) without treating them like this. it's RIDICULOUS.
